If you’ve ever read the Bible, you might have wondered who Jesus really was. Was he just a good man, or something more?
This is a question of critical importance. If he was just a guy, he would not have been a great moral teacher.
1. Don’t Be Afraid to Take Risk
There’s a question that many people have, and you probably have it: “Who is Jesus?” It’s the most fundamental and important question we can ask. It’s the reason why the Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod is so passionate about a good understanding of who Jesus was and how his life and death can provide salvation to all who believe in him.
But answering this question requires deep dives into scripture and faith. It also means allowing yourself to be challenged by the stories of others who have experienced the wonders and terrors of following Jesus.
In the Bible, Peter stands upon a stormy sea, walking into danger with the command of Jesus (Matthew 14:22-33). This story illustrates a crucial truth that God calls believers to risk only when it is in his will and at his direction.
Whenever God calls you to take a risk, trust that it is the right thing to do. It might not feel comfortable or safe to do so, but it’s the only way you’ll experience true freedom in your life. When you listen to what God is calling you, and when you step into the risks he is inviting you to take, your confidence in his character will grow, and you’ll experience the joy that comes from courageously walking into the unknown with him. The journey will be filled with exciting moments of adventure and growth, even when you fall flat on your face a few times along the way.
2. Know Your Limits
One of the best ways to double your profits is to be aware of the laws of supply and demand. This means keeping up with your competitors in the marketplace. This will help you avoid the common pitfalls like hiring underqualified employees or outsourcing your payroll to a third party. Also, be sure to take the time to hone your skills and increase your productivity by taking advantage of new technology. This will also help you stand out from the crowd.
3. Don’t Forget About Taxes
If you’ve ever had the chance to speak with someone who is a devoted follower of Jesus, you may have heard some very compelling stories about his life and teachings. For those of you who are less familiar with this holy man, here’s a quick rundown: Jesus was born in a small town in Israel and spent the better part of his life preaching the gospel to people in need. The most interesting thing about his message is that it is applicable to us today as well.
The Bible is a rich vein of stories about this remarkable man. From his earliest days, Jesus has been a source of awe and wonder in the lives of his followers.
To some, he was a good guy who walked the righteous path; to others, he was a moral scoundrel. Regardless of what you think of him, he has left an indelible mark on the world and deserves the right to be recognized for his contributions to humanity.
One of the most important lessons that we can learn from Jesus is that our sins are forgiven, which frees us up to live lives that make a real difference in our communities. In the words of a sage of the time: “It isn’t the money you earn that counts, it is what you give away”. The key to winning the game is to know how to best use your gifts and talents for God’s glory.
4. Don’t Be Afraid to Ask Questions
Every person, whether they have had a spiritual experience or not, has questions about God. The answers to these questions can be life-changing.
One of the most important questions you will ever answer is who Jesus Christ is. If you can’t answer it, you should probably reconsider your faith in Jesus and start thinking about how to live a life that honors His name.
The Bible claims that Jesus is not just a man, but also the Son of God (John 3:16) and the Holy Spirit--God Himself in human flesh. That means He is more than just a great teacher. It also means He was uniquely qualified to be the savior of the world.
As an example, He was able to perform miracles that no other person could, such as healing people of diseases with just a word or touching them. He also reversed the laws of nature, walked on water, and even resurrected the dead after his death.
This is just some of the evidence that demonstrates Jesus is the Son of God and the Savior of the world. It also shows that He is the only way to God, the source of all truth, and the life (John 20:31).
If you want to know more about Jesus, the Bible has many things you can read. You can also ask other people who have had spiritual experiences for their opinions. It’s a good idea to ask someone you trust, because they can give you honest, reliable answers that will last.
